"March Like A Girl!"

A Note From The Creator

As a woman, a feminist, and a media professional, I have always been passionate about telling stories that amplify marginalized voices and challenge the status quo. I believe that documentaries have a unique power to inspire, educate, and move audiences…

IN PROTEST is the culmination of that vision. Through ten episodes directed by female or non-binary filmmakers who have a deep connection to their subjects, we will take you on a journey across the globe to meet the voices of change who are fighting for women's rights and dignity in the face of oppression, discrimination, and violence.

From Afghanistan to Argentina, from India to Ireland, we will witness the incredible courage, resilience, and creativity of women who are taking risks, challenging norms, and breaking barriers to make the world a better place for all of us.

But this series is not just about struggle and suffering. It's also about hope, joy, and sisterhood. We will celebrate the victories, the triumphs, and the moments of solidarity that keep these movements alive and growing. We will learn from each other, support each other, and be inspired by each other.

And we will do it all with the help of a celebrity/activist narrator or host who shares our values and our passion for social justice. Someone who can connect the stories and the people for viewers, and bring their own voice and personality to the mix.

I cannot wait for you to join us on this journey, to meet these amazing women, and to be part of the movement for gender equality. Together, we can make a difference.
